Plywood Custom Panels
I mount all my paintings on Artist Surfaces Combi Painting Panels. These superior-quality poplar plywood surfaces are sustainably sourced and PEFC and FSC-certified. They have a welded aluminium subframe that will not react to changes in humidity or temperature, creating a warp-free panel with lasting longevity.
Large-scale works on paper are mounted onto the panel, which is then sealed using matt varnish to protect the surface from dusk and other elements.
Contemporary Framing
My standard framing is a beautiful, 55mm deep-set, white-washed contemporary wooden frame. A 10mm spacing gap surrounds the painting to give a shadow border. All my frames are made by Devon Picture Framers, Exeter, and fitted by myself in my studio.
The Finishing Touch!
Once mounted and framed, paintings are signed to add that special finishing touch!
