This dramatic black and white painting was created looking over the long grasses by the edge of The River Teign. It is a combination of ink, pastel and acrylic paint. As large clouds gathered I poured ink and let the wind push it across the paper which created this beautiful sense of movement. The darker lines of pastel were used to give the impact of tall dried structural flowers.

This painting is unmounted and unframed.
